It's obviously necessary to keep a complete spreadsheet or even relational database to deal with magazine subscriptions, credit-card accounts, you name it. Now it's back to Business Week and Texas Monthly shorting on the term, and all these creeps outsource their "customer care" and give the poor people dealing with this stuff no authority to do anything helpful.
