Last of the lilies?
Yesterday there were two oxblood lilies; today there's one. Lily leaves are appearing everywhere. Each time it seems as though the last lily has made its appearance, one or two more shoot up.

I, too, wondered if this was the last of the oxblood lilies. I have only four left. But poking around a bit I found five more buds nosing up which I gave a good watering. My MIL is arriving from England on Tuesday night and I really wanted her to see them. I think there's a good chance now.
Like you, I've had three flushes this year. The most impressive being on September 14th.
We enjoyed three fresh stalks yesterday, and one new stalk of blooms today. We have batches originally from three different sources and in several clustered locations, including an oak motte, plus the odd single bulb here and there in an odd place, the planting always attributed, rightly or wrongly, to squirrels, not a one of which, by the way, is seen without a pecan in his or her mouth these days.
